Over the past few weeks, we had the pleasure of bringing the wonders of the water cycle to life for the students of the Ignazio Silone Primary School in Perugia. Through hands-on lessons and simple, engaging experiments, we explored key processes like evaporation, transpiration, condensation, and runoff. The students were curious, enthusiastic, and eager to understand how water moves through our environment—a truly rewarding experience for everyone involved.
But the adventure didn’t stop there.
To connect classroom learning with real-world observation, we organized a special visit to our SINCZONE Open Air Laboratory in the Sibillini National Park, inviting families and friends to join us. Immersed in the natural landscape, we witnessed the water cycle in action. We measured stream discharge, collected water samples for analysis, and even used drones to gain a bird’s-eye view of the water pathways across the terrain.
Seeing the children’s excitement grow as they connected theory to reality reminded us why environmental education is so important—and so powerful. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share our work and passion with the next generation of eco-explorers.
